Dr Christie has been my GP ever since Dr Rowland moved on. I have always found her very empathetic and have the utmost faith in her judgement. The only problem is arranging an appointment - sometimes it is not possible even if I can give 2 weeks notice! Also I understand that Dr Matin has retired, but I have not received any guidance on what to do if I need specialist psychiatric help quickly.
I received very good care, advice and follow-up.
I mentioned my Mum had Osteoporosis and I have been advised to follow this up - this was taken seriously and I was referred immediately for a bone density scan.
Dr Christie was very helpful and clearly explained what I needed to do to help with my Osteoporosis.
Dr Christie is a warm and kind Doctor, who has been very supportive and helpful. I visited the surgery today by appointment, and was seen within 10 minutes After having lots of problems being referred quickly for a hospital appointment last year though the Richmond Clinical Assessment Service, Dr Christie made a direct referral to the hospital today to avoid the same thing happening again.
she is the doctor i prefer to see at the practice, as although i don't go to the GP very often, I feel she is the GP who knows me best
Dr Christie is a great doctor ,not only does she listen and take time with your problem she is very knowledgeable and confident in her diagnosis. She is both caring and helpful and I am glad she is at the Acorn Practice.
